Color history and the use of medications must be divulged when consulting with your stylist. If you are currently under the care of a medical doctor, it is your responsibility prior to your appointment to research if chemical services are compatible with any current or past prescription medications, medical treatments, or hormone concerns. Your stylist is not a trained medical provider.
BELOW is a list of items to address with your stylist prior to your appointment:
- Previously over-processed hair* (layering dyes, over-lightening, chlorine damage)- Taking prescription medication* (medications can inadvertently alter the bonds of the hair, specifically methotrexate and sulfa based medications)- Thermal damage* (overuse of hot styling tools)- Mechanical damage* (excessive backcombing, wearing tight ponytails)- Use of metallic dyes, salts, or minerals* (box color, henna dyes, vegetable dyes, over-mineralized well water)- Permed or relaxed hair*
*IT IS OUR PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE STUDIO. HOWEVER, IT IS EACH CLIENT’S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY AND TO RESEARCH THE ITEMS LISTED ABOVE. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF UNDIVULGED INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATION IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STYLIST.
Your appointments are very important to Fox & Ash Studio stylists. They are reserved especially for you. We understand that occasionally schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Please understand that when you forget your appointment, or cancel without giving enough notice we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Because appointments are reserved for you personally, a cancellation fee will apply.
- Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.- NO SHOWS will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. - TARDINESS - If you are running 10 minutes or less late to your appointment please call ahead to verify your stylist is still available. If you arrive 15 minutes late, you will forfeit your appointment entirely and be considered a no show.
If late cancellations, no shows, and/or tardiness become a reoccurring issue, your stylist may choose to take a deposit to secure appointments or refuse providing your future services. The cancellation policy is strictly enforced. Your cancellation fee must be paid prior to booking a future appointment at Fox & Ash Studio. This policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of availabilities, as well as keeping our Fox & Ash Studio stylists’ schedules filled, thus better serving everyone. As a courtesy, our automated system will TEXT you a reminder 1 hour prior to your appointment. Not all our stylist use this automated system, so please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times toavoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.
*If you are not happy with your results, please call/text your stylist directly. Our team will be happy tomake small tweaks and adjustments within 1 week or less of your hair apt.*This courtesy is not to be confused with "changing your mind" or trying to receive free services. Ifyour request is reasonable, we will do all that we can to fix any error in quality.
We do not offer refunds of any kind. Please refer to our Redos/Adjustments Policy if you aredissatisfied with your results.
We value the client experience and have set in place guidelines to ensure a professional and happy environment.
As much as we love children, we ask that you please arrange child care the date of your services thatare longer than one hour. There are too many liabilities in the studio to count and it is much safer tokeep the kids at home. Children who accompany you for your short services must be able to sit quietlyand behave. We want to ensure an enjoyable experience for all customers.
We try our very best to please all of our clients. If you have a comment, concern, or complaint we wantto know. Please show respect to your service provider by using calm, dignified speech. Foul language,hate speech, and insults are unacceptable and will get you banned from our studio.
